DG Technologies was started in 2011 as a father-and-son team with the aim of creating simple technology-based solutions in an otherwise very complicated space.
Our goal is to make complex systems feel calm, intuitive and reliable. That means doing the quiet work properly: choosing the right platform, documenting the detail, programming the system carefully and supporting it long after handover.
Much of our work happens inside private homes, secure estates and personal spaces that will never become public case studies. We respect that completely. The same discretion we apply to the technology is applied to the client, the property and the family living with it.

How we work
From brief to handover
A repeatable process that scales from a single room to an entire estate.

Listen
We start by understanding how you live or run your property — what frustrates you about technology now, what you want it to do for you.
- 02
Design
We propose a system, brand by brand, with rationale. You see the kit list, the scope of work, the budget and the timeline before anything is ordered.
- 03
Install
Our installers and programmers are in-house, not subcontracted. We coordinate with builders, electricians and architects from first fix through to final commissioning.
- 04
Support
Most of our clients stay on a support agreement. We monitor systems remotely, fix things before you notice, and keep firmware and security up to date.

DG Technologies is led technically by David Morel, a Crestron-certified technical director with more than two decades across AV, automation, ICT infrastructure and intelligent environments.
His work focuses on making complex systems feel simple: lighting scenes, touch panels, keypads, control interfaces, racks, networks, CCTV infrastructure and long-term support.
That technical depth matters most when a home is large, private or already complicated. Crestron programming, DALI lighting networks, room naming, scene logic, equipment dependencies and documentation all have to be handled carefully if the finished system is going to feel calm to live with.

Founder & Technical Director
Known for a calm, respectful approach inside high-value private spaces, he is often brought in where a system needs careful design, repair, recommissioning or quiet improvement without disrupting the household.
He has spent over two decades working across AV, automation, ICT infrastructure and intelligent environments throughout South Africa and Mauritius. Many of the most complex commissions remain private by design.
