Lighting, seating, speaker placement and control are easier to judge when you can sit inside the result.

Showroom
A hand-built heritage room for light, sound and control
Working demonstration space
The showroom exists to make better decisions before the build starts.
A premium AV and automation system is difficult to judge from a catalogue. The real questions are practical: how does the room sound, how simple is the control, where will the equipment live, and how will the system be serviced years later?
Our Durban North showroom lets homeowners, architects, interior designers and project teams walk through those decisions before finalising specifications.
Rack access, cable routes, ventilation and service thinking become practical instead of theoretical.
The visit turns taste, budget and technical requirements into a more grounded project direction.
Built here, tested here
The showroom carries the fingerprints of the work.
This was not outsourced as a dressed display. Parts of the room were designed, wired, programmed, sanded, stitched, tested and rebuilt by the same people who solve client projects.

Interface thinking, then upholstery
The same room demanded Crestron programming, seating geometry and hand-finished upholstery. That range matters because real projects rarely stay inside one trade boundary.

Timber finished by hand
The bar and table surfaces were sanded, shaped and varnished until the room felt resolved, not assembled around technology as an afterthought.

Small wires, big reliability
Hand-wound relay returns, clean terminations and neat control panels are not decorative details. They affect fault-finding, servicing and how the system behaves years later.
Showrooms
Stand inside it before it is built.
Our own demonstration room is in Durban North. I built it by hand, down to the leather upholstery. It exists so you can sit in a finished room and feel what light, sound and control should feel like, privately and without ceremony.
As a Crestron dealer, I can also open doors further afield. If you would like to stand inside a fully realised Crestron residence before committing to your own, I will arrange a private visit to a Crestron Showroom or Experience Centre in whichever city suits your travel.

You can sit inside a working private entertainment room, experience lighting, sound and control in a real finished space, and discuss how those decisions translate into your own home.
Who should book a showroom visit?
The showroom is useful for homeowners, architects, interior designers, developers and hospitality teams who want to make better specification decisions before procurement and installation.
What happens after a showroom visit?
We use the visit to sharpen the project brief, recommend the right platform, define scope and next steps, and make sure the proposed system suits the property and budget.
